development projects in the housing, commercial
and industrial sectors. Investments in
built-up property (either vacant or on
lease) and trading in property assets
will be on a lower priority and will be
undertaken on an opportunistic basis.

of prospective investments could include:
|
Acquisition and
development of land held by sick
companies and by financial Institutions; |
|
Providing development expertise
and capital on leaseback deals; |
|
Investment in projects relating
to residential & residential
townships; |
|
Investment
in projects including IT/IT enabled
services, software parks, industrial
parks; |
|
Investment
in hotel and service apartment projects; |
|
Acquisition and sale of leased or
vacant property; |
|
Any mix
of the above. |
The geographic footprint shall cover
the entire country of India but with a
special focus on Class B towns with high
growth potential.
This overall investment strategy will
be tempered and restrained by the prevailing
Foreign Direct Investment Regulations
of the Government of India as prevailing
from time to time and as may be applicable
to the specific Fund within the Solitaire
Capital umbrella.
